What Do You Think of Designer Flip Flops?

Do you wear designer flip flops? I am talking about the rubber flip flops made for the beach. Very causal flip flops. I don’t own a pair. I just can’t seem to bring myself to spend the money on flip flops. Some of them don’t even show that they are a designer brand anywhere on the sandals either. If I am going to spend that kind of money I would prefer the flip flops to show off the brand a little. I think I would only spend the money for a special occasion. I might buy bridal flip flops for a casual beach wedding! That would be a fun wedding right on the sand.
Although, if I can get them on sale, then I might not be able to pass up a designer pair. I am all about a good deal. Then it is very tempting to buy them in every color. When they are around $20 it is time to buy them, especially when their original price was $88! Designer flip flops can range from $40 to $100 or more, depending on the brand and where you buy them. I saw a pair of Coach flip flops for $20 at Marshall’s the other day and they were originally $88. The actual straps were a salmon color with the word Coach written on one side of one of the straps and the soles were white. I almost bought them, but they needed a little more pizzazz.
I think it also depends on the designer. If it’s a designer you love, then it will be a lot harder to pass up the flip flops, especially if they are on sale. When I find some shiny rhinestone flip flops or some with pretty beads on them, then that might not be able to resist. Or even if they were metallic silver or gold ones, I would buy them up. I just think if they are designer then they should look a little more fancy, than the cheap pairs you see everywhere. I will just have to keep looking for some fancy beachy designer flip flops with a little more bling. What can I say? I like bling! 
I do own some more fancy flip flop style Coach sandals. They are silver flip flops with the famous Coach “C” monogram written all along the straps. And they are made of leather, with leather soles and leather straps. However, what I am talking about in this articles is the rubber style of flip flops, with the rubber soles. Below is a pink Coach pair I found at Amazon. What do you think? These ones have the rubber soles and light leather thin straps. Now, that summer is over there might be some great sales going on now in the stores though. Time to grab up a few pair for next summer. Or if you wear ladies flip flops all year long, which I talked about in my last post, then you should definitely pick up a couple pairs.
Designer flip flops will indeed make your casual outfit look more stylish. Just the fact that they are a designer brand, makes your T-shirt and shorts more classy. It is all about how the designer ladies shoes make you feel too. If you love wearing designer branded clothing and shoes, then buy them. Wearing these flip flops can just make you feel more glamorous and beautiful. It’s like wearing a beautiful high end purse. Just wearing the item makes you feel more put together. It makes you more happy. You shouldn’t feel guilty for it, if you do, by the way. You work hard for your money and you should buy what you please. If you have saved up for those cute shoes and that purse, then buy them. Splurge on yourself sometimes. (I have written a lot about buying lady shoes and your happiness as well.)

I think everybody needs a pair of beachy flip flops in their closet, so why not buy a designer pair, especially when they are on sale? Owning a designer pair just puts a big smile on your face. Remember you deserve it. I think more ladies need to celebrate themselves more, don’t be so hard on yourself all the time. Enjoy yourself and enjoy those big brand designer flip flops.
