First of all, do you live in snow country? Or are you looking to take a trip soon? It really doesn’t matter, either way you need a good pair of snow boots for women! I was just curious really. I am taking a snow trip soon. I think it would be fun to live up in the mountains, being able to go snow skiing all the time would be so awesome! However I don’t think I could handle shoveling snow everyday and chipping it off my windshield all the time. It seems like a lot of people who live in the snow, always want to leave too. So, I bought a pair winter snow boots yesterday! I really needed some new ones. The last pair I bought, broke. And I mean seriously broke. The top of the toe was made out of some sort of rubber and the whole top of one shoe, cracked. Yes, a big crack went up the whole top of the rubber part of the shoe. So weird! I guess it was a little too cold that day, or maybe I left them in the freezing car overnight or something! I don’t remember doing that or why they cracked, but that seems like a good possibility. Okay, so don’t leave you cute shoes in the freezing car overnight! I can’t believe I would do that, I mean these are my shoes! But I was using them just as after ski boots, so I guess I could have. Anyway, the point is I need some new boots. And I found a great pair of cheap snow boots too. Well, not cheap, but a great deal!

Now as I said, I bought mine to use as after ski boots. I am a skier first. Yes, I know all you snowboarders probably hate me right now, but I love skiing! I have snowboarded a few times, but I am sticking to skiing now. Now, it doesn’t matter if you are a skier or a snowboarder, we all need some warm, cozy boots to slip into after a long day on the slopes. Comfort is the most important thing, after your feet have been working so hard all day. Of course, it is nice if they are styling too. Well, fortunately you can have both. There are so many fashionable women’s snow boots out there!

There are all kinds of styles to choose from, as well. There are the heavy duty winter snow boots, make for hiking and really roughing it. Then there are the cute faux fur ones with a heel, made for going out on a snowy night on the town. So you need a good snow boot for every occasion. Now, not all of them all waterproof boots, but there are ones that are waterproof. And you really want the waterproof ones. The snow can seep right into the shoe and get your feet all wet otherwise. And cold, wet feet are never fun! Make sure the boots are tall as well. You don’t want the snow falling in around your ankles either. You don’t have to spend a lot of money on snow shoes either.

Yes, winter snow boots can be expensive, but there are some great bargains to be had. There are some great deals out there right now too, even though it is winter time right! I am sure you know, that it is best to shop for shoes in the off season. You score the best deals in the springtime, when all the winter boots go on sale! However, if you shop around you can find some great deals. I actually bought two pairs of snow boots yesterday! I bought a cute full-on waterproof tall boot, with shiny patent lather on the heel and toe. And I also bought a comfy black Ugg type as well. I did not buy the Ugg brand though, they are always expensive. I don’t really care about the brand. I do like Ugg boots though and I have a pair of those as well, but I didn’t care yesterday, I just wanted a good deal. And for just running around, I wanted a cute black pair and I found a pair of Alpine brand ones for $30. The other boots were only $30 as well, so that is two pairs for $60! I couldn’t pass them up! So now I will be fully prepared for my trip to the snow. Now finding actual ski boots, that’s a whole other story, but I am not going to get into that today!

Although, if I can get them on sale, then I might not be able to pass up a designer pair. I am all about a good deal. Then it is very tempting to buy them in every color. When they are around $20 it is time to buy them, especially when their original price was $88! Designer flip flops can range from $40 to $100 or more, depending on the brand and where you buy them. I saw a pair of Coach flip flops for $20 at Marshall’s the other day and they were originally $88. The actual straps were a salmon color with the word Coach written on one side of one of the straps and the soles were white. I almost bought them, but they needed a little more pizzazz.

I think it also depends on the designer. If it’s a designer you love, then it will be a lot harder to pass up the flip flops, especially if they are on sale. When I find some shiny rhinestone flip flops or some with pretty beads on them, then that might not be able to resist. Or even if they were metallic silver or gold ones, I would buy them up. I just think if they are designer then they should look a little more fancy, than the cheap pairs you see everywhere. I will just have to keep looking for some fancy beachy designer flip flops with a little more bling. What can I say? I like bling!

I do own some more fancy flip flop style Coach sandals. They are silver flip flops with the famous Coach “C” monogram written all along the straps. And they are made of leather, with leather soles and leather straps. However, what I am talking about in this articles is the rubber style of flip flops, with the rubber soles. Below is a pink Coach pair I found at Amazon. What do you think? These ones have the rubber soles and light leather thin straps. Now, that summer is over there might be some great sales going on now in the stores though. Time to grab up a few pair for next summer. Or if you wear ladies flip flops all year long, which I talked about in my last post, then you should definitely pick up a couple pairs.

Designer flip flops will indeed make your casual outfit look more stylish. Just the fact that they are a designer brand, makes your T-shirt and shorts more classy. It is all about how the designer ladies shoes make you feel too. If you love wearing designer branded clothing and shoes, then buy them. Wearing these flip flops can just make you feel more glamorous and beautiful. It’s like wearing a beautiful high end purse. Just wearing the item makes you feel more put together. It makes you more happy. You shouldn’t feel guilty for it, if you do, by the way. You work hard for your money and you should buy what you please. If you have saved up for those cute shoes and that purse, then buy them. Splurge on yourself sometimes. (I have written a lot about buying lady shoes and your happiness as well.)

Even if you live in a warm climate you may be against wearing women flip flops all year long. You believe that winter is for closed toe shoes and that is a good thing. I believe that closed toe shoes are more appropriate for winter too, even if it is only 60 degrees outside. They do look better with pants too. Plus, you would think your feet would get cold. Wearing flip flops also stops you from wearing all those cute winter lady shoes out there that can really only be worn in winter. Wearing some big black boots during summertime is not really appropriate either, well depending on what outfit you are wearing.

However, you still see both men and women wear flip flops all year long anyway. I do understand where you are coming from if you do wear them all year long. If you live by the beach, women’s flip flops are a definite must have. They are so easy to slip on and run out the door. They are very casual and relaxed, which matches the relaxed beach atmosphere. And they are just as easily to slip on while wearing pants too, so I understand and I have done it before as well. I am for both sides. I like to wear them occasionally when running to the store or whatnot. Otherwise, I prefer my nice comfortable black boots or black slip on tennis shoes though.

Walking is excellent exercise for cardio fitness. Many people do not think that walking is enough for cardio exercise, but it is! So if you hate running, then try walking instead. Of course a leisurely stroll won’t really cut it. Pep it up a step and try speed walking. Walking fast is not nearly as hard as jogging, plus you can walk with friends. Walk fast enough to get your heart pumping, but not so fast that you cannot hold a conversation with friends. Speed walking is also better for your joints than jogging. Since, you may enjoy walking the odds are that you will keep on walking, and that is the key to staying in shape.

Make sure you incorporate some strength training into your exercise routine as well though. Weight training is very important, because the more muscle you have the more fat you will burn when you are just sitting still! Plus, we loose muscle as we age, which is one reason why many people gain weight as they age. Start slowly with light weights and work your way up. And ladies, don’t worry about looking like some huge beef cake muscle man. Women cannot naturally put on that much muscle. So start lifting some weights and start speed walking. Make sure the shoe fits. It really doesn’t matter if you buy a women’s walking shoe or a running shoe, what matters is how the shoe fits. Look for a shoe that has good cushioning. Lots of cushion is needed to support your feet when you are walking all those thousands of steps. What is your foot shape? Do you have flat feet, a high arch, wide feet, or somewhere in between? The type of shoe you buy depends greatly on the shape of your foot. Make sure that there is enough room in the toebox to wiggle your toes. You don’t want the shoe too long though, and you don’t want you toes squashed. Ask a sales person for help finding a shoe just right for you.

Sometimes when I go shopping in the sale racks, I will see the most beautiful shoe. I pick it up and I look at the fabulous price and I cannot believe I scored such a great deal. And then I look at the shoe size and it is a size 10. It’s the last shoe of this style left and all they have is a size 10. It’s hard for women of size 10 to buy shoes. However, I always seem to find the cutest shoe on sale and it’s always a size 10.

Now, I know I don’t have to deal with the frustration that you deal with quite so much. I am just trying to say, it seems to me like there are some great bargains with the size 10. Not too many ladies wear woman’s shoes size 10, so that last super cute pair of ladies shoes is left for you, lucky lady. Now, you may be thinking that you would rather wear a size 7 or something, but the average shoe size in America woman is about a size 7 or 8. Therefore, these shoes sizes are often times sold out! And the average American woman’s height is about 5’4. So if you wear a size 10 then you are probably taller than the average woman. Since, your shoe size is dependent upon your height. Being tall is very beautiful, you are like a beautiful tall model. Be grateful for your long legs.

Also, make sure you are wearing the correct ladies shoe size for your feet. No matter how large your shoe size is, don’t be embarrassed about the size of your feet. Do you wear ladies casual house shoes? I don’t wear house shoes. I like wearing my slippers or socks, but I do understand the reason why some ladies like them. House shoes make you feel more ready for anything. And they allow you to run out at a moments notice. One time I walked out the door with my slippers on, fortunately I noticed and turned back around. With house shoes that wouldn’t matter though. I know a lot of people who never wear shoes in their home and they make their guests take their shoes off upon entering. I wonder if they have special house shoes that they only wear when they are home.

Finding the right womens causal shoes can take a long time, but it is well worth it. Don’t give up and settle for a pair that is cute, but not quite the comfort you were hoping for. Although, as I mentioned above you really don’t have to. However, when I look at those comfort brands, such as Clarks shoes, I see them as a lot cuter than I used to when I was younger. The color of your ladies casual shoe can be determined by what you wear the most. Do you like neutral warm colors, bright colors, or dark colors? I know some ladies who hardly ever wear black, they actually prefer white and light colors. Where I am a fan of black. I always have been. I think it is a beautiful color, it makes you look slimmer, and it does not stain as easily too. However, if you can afford it, there is no reason why you shouldn’t have all of the basic shoe colors in closet. Buy a brown, white, and black pair! And then after you have those colors, you can start venturing out into the bright colors such as, red, yellow, bright blue, green, rust, and so on. The Keds brand actually has a lot of cute colors right now, even sparkly silver or gold sequin ones! It can really be fun to wear an unexpected shoe color. It adds some excitement and joy to your day, before you even take a step outside.

Casual footwear is very important to have in your closet. After a long day or week at work it is time to kick back and get casual. Put on you fun bright red casual shoes. Or dress them up just a little with some nice flat shoes. There are many brands and styles you can choose from. Buy a whole bunch of bright colored cheap ones or splurge on a designer pair or two. Remember you don’t have to give up fashion for comfort. Just keep shopping and you will find the perfect pair or pairs for you. Why are ladies high heel shoes a girl’s best friend? Because high heels are so sexy! They make you look tall and sexy! They also make your calf muscles more defined, therefore making your legs look even more beautiful. Now, I love diamonds too, of course. Diamonds are bright and shiny! When women wear heels they often make sure they are dressed up and look their best, which could be another reason why men love heels on women. There are even some men that have a women high heel shoes fetish. Of course not all men get that carried away. And most men do not want to see their women in heels everyday. They like to see them relax in a pair of tennis shoes, T-shirt, and jeans.

You can find high heels shoes that are actually comfortable too, you just have to find the right pair. It can be hard to find a comfortable pair sometimes though. You have to have patience. Just keep shopping. Many ladies however, will wear the shoes despite the pain. Beauty is pain right? Some shoes are too sexy to not buy, even if they do hurt your feet. And if you only wear them out at night to dinner, then they are worth it. Wearing women high heel shoes all the time in general will help you to feel more comfortable in them as well. Some ladies say they can walk all day in them. You can always bring a different pair of shoes with a lower heel or no heel at all, to wear later if you feet hurt. I really like this pair of Joan and David Collection high heels right now! I have been trying to find a pair of blue heels forever. It’s hard to find blue shoes. I want them in blue, because they will go with all my jeans and any top! They are perfect for summer or springtime or anytime, but they are not plain black, so they look good with everything. These ones are really stylish too, because they are made out of a shiny patent material, which is really in fashion right now. They are super high too, which is in style. The higher, the better right?! The shoes have a 1 inch platform and about a 4 1/2 inch heel! The platform makes them more comfortable and stable. I love the multi-color blue scratch design as well, because it kind of looks like jeans material. And it will go with pretty much every color of jeans too. What do you think of these heels? They also come in other colors.

Womens high heel shoes make you feel more beautiful. They make you look taller and skinnier with more defined legs. They make you feel more feminine and you know that guys find you a sexy lady too. High wedge shoes are more comfortable than high heels, but they can still give you that desired height! You can actually walk all day and night in wedges! Can you imagine not having tired sore feet at the end of a long day of walking in high shoes? I know some of you may say that you can walk all day in your sky high stilettos and that is awesome! More power to you and your super high heels. Unfortunately, I cannot go that long in some of those sexy heels, so I prefer the wedge. Not that I am saying I don’t like stilettos, I just usually save my stilettos for days where less walking is involved.

There is the low wedge, glam wedge, casual wedge, and the super high wedge. And then of course there is the different materials the wedge part of the shoe comes in as well, such as cork, wooden, boots, or some crazy new design. The width of the wedge heel comes in a thin style or wide style as well. Of course the thinner style will look more glamorous for any elegant events. Where the wide style provides more support and looks better for casual events. Open toe wedges look great with summer and spring dresses. You can also rock an black peep toe platform wedge shoe when going out at night.

Go for the big name brand designer shoes. Shoes with a wedge heel never seem to really go out of fashion. Sure, they might go out for a season over time, but then they come right back, because they are just too darn comfortable. I bet this isn’t a lady without one pair in her closet at all times. Did you see Sex And The City 2 over the weekend? I have not seen it yet, so you don’t have to worry about any movie spoilers here. I do want to talk about it though, because Carrie Bradshaw is all about the top ladies shoes! So how can I not talk about it on my shoe blog? I did see the first Sex and the City movie and I really liked it! I cannot believe they made a second one. The Sex And The City TV shows really made strong single women in their 30’s and 40’s look so beautiful and sexy. Since, I am single and getting close to turning 30, I can definitely relate. I am sure every lady can relate to one of the ladies on the show at sometime or another. Anyway, back to designer lady shoes.

Carrie Bradshaw loves all kind of shoes, especially the Manolos! Remember, that Sex And The City episode titled, A Women’s Right To Shoes.? Carrie goes to a baby shower, where they make her take off her shoes. I personally do not like taking off my shoes upon entering someone’s home. The shoes can make the outfit, and taking off your designer ladies shoes can definitely diminish your stylish outfit that you spent precious time preparing for the baby shower. Taking off my shoes also causes my feet to get cold. My feet get really cold and I imagine other people’s feet are cold as well. What if someone’s feet stink? That would be terribly embarrassing for them and smelly for all the guests. Also, what if you have a hole in your stockings or socks? Or what if you have a bad pedicure? Making guests take off their shoes can cause many fears and make guests uncomfortable, is it really worth it? Anyway, back to Sex And The City, the worst thing happen when she took off her Manolos, they were stolen by someone at the party!

The Manolo Blahnik shoes are very pricey, ranging from $400 to $800 depending on where you buy them. Can you imagine if your brand new pair were stolen! I know I have been getting down on all the people that like their guests to take off their shoes, but you do have to admit that the shoe can make the outfit right? Of course, I don’t like white carpet either though. I am sure you might say that a lady should not buy such expensive shoes, but everybody has their priorities in life right?
